Why the Media WON’T Discuss the Clinton Kosovo Fraud<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n They Were Accomplices in Clinton’s Senseless Destruction of Yugoslavia<\/p>\n By: Mary Mostert, Analyst, Original Sources www.originalsources.com)<\/p>\n August 22, 2000\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Last Friday, August 18, 2000, the London Guardian published an article\u00a0entitled “Serb Killings ‘exaggerated’ by West.” It was subheaded:\u00a0<\/span>“Claims of\u00a0up to 100,000 ethnic Albanians massacred in Kosovo revised to under\u00a0<\/span>3,000 as\u00a0exhumations near end.”<\/p>\n That article, in a well-known British newspaper, appears to be\u00a0<\/span>reverberating\u00a0around the world. Knowing of my interest in this subject, and my\u00a0<\/span>skepticism\u00a0about the so-called “genocide,” readers from all over the world have\u00a0e-mailed me copies of the Guardian article and commentary about it.<\/p>\n Justin Raimondo, ( http:\/\/www.antiwar.com ), wrote yesterday:<\/p>\n “Think of what this has to mean: Madeleine Albright, James Rubin, and\u00a0<\/span>Jamie\u00a0Shea didn’t pull this off single-handedly. Not only the US government,\u00a0<\/span>butthe worldwide media fabricated a “genocide” and, on that basis,\u00a0<\/span>launched a\u00a0savage war against a sovereign nation that had never attacked us, in\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0name of “humanitarianism – a war, I might add, that was stopped but has\u00a0<\/span>not\u00a0ended.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n THE CASE OF THE MISSING CORPUS DELICTI<\/p>\n In a sense, the NATO-crats have been tripped up by their own web of\u00a0propaganda: in their eagerness to charge Yugoslav strongman Slobodan\u00a0Milosevic with “war crimes,” and indict him before their self-appointed\u00a0<\/span>“War\u00a0Crimes Tribunal,” Western governments have had to follow at least the\u00a0<\/span>forms\u00a0of legality: due process, the rules of evidence – and, in the case of\u00a0murder, not to mention “genocide,” the necessity of producing the\u00a0<\/span>corpusdelicti. Where are the bodies, all 100,000 of them?<\/p>\n In a great fanfare of publicity last year, scores of forensic experts\u00a0flooded Kosovo searching for those 100,000 bodies. At least one\u00a0<\/span>thousand of\u00a0them were supposed to be in the Trepca mine, according to the\u00a0<\/span>Albanians. Nota single body was found in the Trepca mine.<\/p>\n But the true nature of the Kosovo war was never a secret. Any\u00a0<\/span>journalistwilling to do some independent research had more than ample evidence\u00a0<\/span>thatClinton’s so-called “Humanitarian War” to stop a “genocide” was a lie.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The\u00a0U.S. State Department, independent scientists and Interpol, Europe’s\u00a0international police investigators ALL knew that the so-called “KosovoLiberation Army” or KLA was the military wing of Europe’s major drug\u00a0<\/span>cartel.<\/p>\n On the day Clinton started the bombing, March 23, 1999, I wrote:\u00a0“Today, without a vote in the Congress or the UN, President Clinton has\u00a0<\/span>in\u00a0effect declared war on Yugoslavia, which is approximately the size of\u00a0<\/span>theState of Kentucky. He is providing the Air Support the KLA lacks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Kosovo,\u00a0which is demanding independent status, is about 4,000 square miles\u00a0<\/span>which is\u00a0about one tenth of Yugoslavia. The KLA is composed largely of\u00a0<\/span>non-Albanianmercenaries who are financed with the Kosovo-Albanian heroin trade in\u00a0Scandinavia, Italy, and the Czech Republic.”<\/p>\n Part of the successive effort to convince the American people that we\u00a0<\/span>needed\u00a0to bomb Yugoslavia was the Clinton Administration’s cunning scheme to\u00a0<\/span>changethe meaning of the word “genocide.” That too was not hard to discern\u00a0<\/span>early<\/p>\n in the bombing. On March 29, 1999 I wrote:<\/p>\n “Undersecretary James Rubin said on CNN yesterday that the Serbs were”committing genocide” by driving Albanians out of their homes and\u00a0<\/span>tellingthem to leave the province. The Albanian population is said to be\u00a0<\/span>1,800,000\u00a0and the Serb population of Kosovo 200,000. However, at the borders, CNNreports a ‘trickle’ of refugees – guessing that the Albanians are tooterrified to leave their homes.<\/p>\n “One of those stories – or perhaps both of them are wrong. That’s not a\u00a0problem for James Rubin. He appears to have changed the definition ofgenocide anyway. The Dictionary definition of genocide is ‘the\u00a0<\/span>deliberate\u00a0and systematic extermination of a national or racial group.’ Rubin says\u00a0<\/span>that\u00a0genocide ‘includes’ driving people out of their homes and forcing them\u00a0<\/span>to go\u00a0somewhere else.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “If that is the case, that opens up a whole new set of ‘war crimes’ –\u00a0<\/span>forexample, the Croatians driving something like 700,000 Serbs out of\u00a0<\/span>Croatia a\u00a0couple of years ago. With Rubin’s new definition of ‘genocide’ Croatian\u00a0President Tudjman is a war criminal. There were only about a million\u00a0<\/span>Serbs\u00a0IN Croatia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “On the other hand, Senator Joseph Lieberman (D-NJ) said yesterday on\u00a0<\/span>CNN\u00a0that if Milosevic doesn’t sign the document written, apparently, by theUnited States and presented to him in Paris for his signature, the\u00a0<\/span>Clinton\u00a0administration will “destroy his nation.”<\/p>\n When a nation is destroyed,\u00a0<\/span>of\u00a0course, it isn’t the head of the country who suffers. It’s the people\u00a0<\/span>whose\u00a0houses, places of worship, schools and jobs that are destroyed. Many of\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0people remaining in Kosovo, for example, will be killed.Thanks to the support of senators like Lieberman, who may be rewarded\u00a0<\/span>by theAmerican people this fall with a boost in his status to Vice-President,<\/p>\n Clinton was able to bomb Yugoslavia INCLUDING Kosovo for 79 days,\u00a0<\/span>destroyinghospitals, factories, schools, homes, water and power plants. Why?\u00a0<\/span>BecauseMilosevic would not sign a document in Rambouillet agreeing to allow\u00a0<\/span>NATO\u00a0troops free reign in ALL of Yugoslavia, not just Kosovo.<\/p>\n And who, really, WERE the people fleeing Kosovo after the bombing\u00a0<\/span>began?<\/p>\n Actually, just about anyone who could, Serbs as well as Albanians.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n However,what CNN and other major news sources never reported was the fact that\u00a0<\/span>a\u00a0huge proportion, probably a third, of the Albanian living in Kosovo wereillegal aliens who had fled across the mountain when the Communist\u00a0<\/span>regime in\u00a0Albania collapsed and then its economy collapsed, leaving 70% of the\u00a0<\/span>workersunemployed.<\/p>\n In April 1999 I point that out:\u00a0Today in Kosovo, there is a much LARGER Albanian population than there\u00a0<\/span>was\u00a0in March of 1999 because KFOR has allowed anyone to stream across the\u00a0border. So many of the so-called “refugees” in Kosovo now, living on\u00a0<\/span>the Aid\u00a0provided by over 600 international organizations and nations, never\u00a0<\/span>lived\u00a0there before while most of the non-Albanians – Serbs, Gypsies, (Roma),\u00a0Egyptians, Montegegrines, Jews – have been driven out in order to make\u00a0<\/span>roomfor the invading horde from Albania.<\/p>\n The American media reported none of that. But, in May, after the\u00a0<\/span>American\u00a0bombers bombed a Belgrade hospital, wiping out its maternity wing, we\u00a0<\/span>saw,\u00a0thanks to Yugoslav TV, images of medical personnel trying to save tiny\u00a0babies in incubators after the electrical system had been destroyed. A\u00a0reporter in Brussels asked NATO spokesman Jamie Shea about it and\u00a0<\/span>Shea’s\u00a0answer was:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “President Milosevic has got plenty of back-up generators. His armed\u00a0<\/span>forces\u00a0have hundreds of them. He can either use these back-up generators to\u00a0<\/span>supply\u00a0his hospitals, his schools, or he can use them to supply his military.\u00a0<\/span>His\u00a0choice. If he has a big headache over this, then that is exactly what\u00a0<\/span>wewant him to have and I am not going to make any apology for that.<\/p>\n “Secondly, I don’t know if anybody realizes this. It’s not often\u00a0<\/span>rememberedbut over 50% of the refugees in Albania and the former Yugoslav\u00a0<\/span>Republic ofMacedonia are under 18 years of age. Children, or at least adolescents.\u00a0<\/span>40%<\/p>\n are under 14 years of age. 20,000 are under one year old and at least\u00a0100,000 babies have been born since this crisis in March in those\u00a0<\/span>refugee\u00a0camps, without incubators, without electricity, without medical\u00a0<\/span>support,without water, without a roof over their heads, with absolutely\u00a0<\/span>nothing. And\u00a0therefore they are still considerably less fortunate than those babies\u00a0<\/span>inBelgrade. NATO doesn’t wish any harm to any baby but let’s make it\u00a0<\/span>clear\u00a0here, the suffering, the real suffering, not the TV images, but the\u00a0<\/span>realsuffering is in this business overwhelmingly on the side of the KosovarAlbanians who don’t have the choice, unfortunately, between an\u00a0<\/span>incubatorwith electricity supplied by President Milosevic or an incubator\u00a0<\/span>withoutelectricity. They simply have no incubator because they have been\u00a0<\/span>forced out\u00a0of their homes and into fields.”<\/p>\n The top reporters in the world were in that room. Not one of them\u00a0<\/span>challenged\u00a0this story. I pointed out that it was a mathematical impossibility for100,000 babies to have been born in those refugee camps in 2 months\u00a0<\/span>time.<\/p>\n According to the UN figures, 60% of the refugees were children. The\u00a0<\/span>five\u00a0refugee camps only HELD 77,000 people totally. At least 40% of the\u00a0<\/span>adult\u00a0refugees were men, (CNN reporting notwithstanding) and not all the\u00a0<\/span>Albanian\u00a0women were of child-bearing age and nine months pregnant when the\u00a0<\/span>bombing\u00a0started. So, we were told by NATO’s top propagandist, in effect that\u00a0<\/span>refugee\u00a0camps that were occupied by approximately 27,000 adult women somehow\u00a0managed, in a space of two months, to produce 100,000 babies. And to\u00a0<\/span>this\u00a0day, I have not seen a challenge of that figure from any journalist\u00a0<\/span>besides\u00a0me.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n And, exactly who was it now that was responsible for the people fleeing\u00a0Kosovo? In that same article I also noted:”And who is it that has forced the Albanians out of their homes? Has\u00a0<\/span>anyone\u00a0noticed, besides me, that every time NATO brags about increasing and\u00a0intensifying the air strikes that a new batch of Albanians arrive at\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0borders for the Western nations to take care of? When a few days go by\u00a0without bombs in Kosovo, the flow of refugees slows to a trickle or\u00a0<\/span>stops.<\/p>\n Are we all supposed to be too stupid to notice that?”<\/p>\n The report in the Guardian that is only now being reported is old news.\u00a0<\/span>Iwrote a year ago, in August 1999: “NATO’s 100,000 Kosovo Deaths\u00a0<\/span>Shrinking to3000-6000 Deaths and asked a simple question seemingly ignored by the\u00a0<\/span>world\u00a0media: “Where are the graves of the KLA terrorists who died in the\u00a0<\/span>ground\u00a0war between them and the Yugoslav army?” Now we find that fewer than\u00a0<\/span>3000bodies have been found by the forensic experts. But exactly who ARE\u00a0<\/span>those\u00a03000 bodies? How many of them died in battles with the Yugoslav army?<\/p>\n Milosovic himself put the Yugoslav army deaths from the ground war with\u00a0<\/span>theKLA and the bombs dropped by NATO at 476. We know that some of the KLAsoldiers died when NATO bombs dropped on them.<\/p>\n I pointed out a year ago that the best kept secret in the war was where\u00a0<\/span>theKLA soldiers\/terrorists were buried and how many there were. I get\u00a0<\/span>e-mailfrom many sources, and one of them has been KLA supporters in Kosovo. Iasked a couple of them how many KLA soldiers died. On three different\u00a0occasions I was told 2,000.<\/p>\n During the bombing I was not only criticized for my skepticism of NATO<\/p>\n propaganda, but was told on more than one occasion to stop writing\u00a0<\/span>those\u00a0stories. People in my own family refuse to believe the extent to which\u00a0<\/span>they\u00a0were lied to about the Serbs.<\/p>\n The hard fact of the matter is that, using the definition put forth by\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0U.S. State Department’s Jamie Shea when the bombing began in March\u00a0<\/span>1999, the\u00a0“genocide” taking place in the Balkans has been led by none other than\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0President of the United States, Bill Clinton, supported by the American\u00a0<\/span>TV\u00a0Networks and major newspapers, plus most of official Washington, D.C. –\u00a0Democrats and Republicans, although many Republicans wanted to adhere\u00a0<\/span>to theU.S. Constitution and the Democrats wanted to totally ignore it.<\/p>\n Some\u00a0Republicans, among them Bob Dole for whom I voted in 1996, have\u00a0<\/span>received\u00a0hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign funds from the Albanian\u00a0<\/span>lobby\u00a0in America. Other Republicans have Albanian\/KLA sympathizers on their\u00a0<\/span>staffs\u00a0and their policies reflect a strong anti-Serb bias.<\/p>\n However, as one of the House Impeachment managers pointed out, “Facts\u00a0<\/span>are\u00a0stubborn things.” Eventually we have to face them. Sometimes it takes\u00a0<\/span>years\u00a0or generations.
