When Ignorance Kills:\u00a0 The Clinton Administration and Al Qaeda in the\u00a0Balkans<\/strong><\/p>\n

On July 16, Republican Congressman Curt Weldon fired a\u00a0warning\u00a0shot across the bow of the Democrat machine. \u201cEnough is enough,\u201d he\u00a0said\u00a0around midnight on the floor of Congress. He pointed to the blatant\u00a0lies\u00a0told by the Clinton administration about Kosovo.<\/p>\n

Republicans could\u00a0have\u00a0expected a new round in the Offensive Defensive. It happened first with\u00a0renewed accusations that Bush lied about the war in Iraq, didn\u2019t have\u00a0an\u00a0exit plan, moved too fast, and so forth and then with hysterical\u00a0screaming\u00a0about the \u201cleak\u201d of the name of a CIA operative (or analyst) that\u00a0quickly\u00a0became the most \u201cdastardly\u201d thing in modern history. That Republicans failed\u00a0to understand the Democrat\u2019s Offensive Defensive is evident in every\u00a0counter-scream. Yes, the Democrats\u2019 screams do not rise to the level of\u00a0logical argument, but the screams are only, once again, desperate\u00a0diversions.<\/p>\n

The Offensive Defensive<\/p>\n

The Offensive Defensive is a survival strategy for Democrats.\u00a0Notone of them doubts that truth will eventually emerge, but every move is\u00a0being made (accusing Bush of exactly what Clinton did to defray focus,\u00a0repeating old lies, classifying \u201cevidence\u201d for 50 years, revising\u00a0history in\u00a0popular books and even encyclopedias, etc. to make sure all political\u00a0andmedia whores (no slander to prostitutes, who are selling what is\u00a0theirs,\u00a0intended) are dead and gone when it does, when Americans learn that the\u00a0biggest scandal of the past 50 years is not Gulf of Tonkin, not\u00a0Watergate,\u00a0not Whitewater, not Monicagate, not Chinagate, not CIA-training-Bin\u00a0Laden-in-Afghanistan-gate, not Hill and Knowlton-gate (Gulf War I), but\u00a0Balkangate.<\/p>\n

When the American people learn that not only their safety (and theirgrandchildrens\u2019 security) was sold for Middle East oil money but also\u00a0thatof Christians, Hindus, Jews, and many Muslims in Asia and Africa, thefingers will point, not at Reagan or Bush administrations but at the\u00a0Clinton\u00a0administration.<\/p>\n

Smoking Guns<\/p>\n

Proof is in a two-hour Al Qaeda recruitment video in which Al Qaeda\u2019s\u00a0NumberTwo (Ayman Al Zawahiri), Bosnia\u2019s Alija Izetbegovic, various Westerners\u00a0in\u00a0ties or uniforms, and Clinton, Chirac and company at the UN are\u00a0co-stars.<\/p>\n

The video, filmed over several days and edited to include additional\u00a0clips,\u00a0shows the planning and implementation of the attack on Bosnian Serbs in\u00a0Vozuca. (Evidence from that battle-of decapitated Serb prisoners whose\u00a0heads\u00a0were reportedly sent to Iran and to Izetbegovic-has been turned over to\u00a0TheHague.) The video shows excited Westerners (those who aren\u2019t shamed)\u00a0celebrating the victory of the mujahidin, two with an embrace (in the\u00a0presence of Al Zawahiri), and traces the handing over at the UN of a\u00a0majority Christian country (by any count) with only a handful of real\u00a0Muslims to the jihad.<\/p>\n

With Western complicity, Al Qaeda was able to acquire the\u00a0strengthduring the war in Bosnia to become the international threat it is\u00a0today. Now\u00a0we know that the 2001 World Trade Center attack was planned in 1996,\u00a0soon\u00a0after the victory in Bosnia, and that an earlier plot to blow up American\u00a0planes and crash one into the CIA headquarters is tied to Al Qaeda\u00a0fighters\u00a0in Bosnia and even code named bojinka, from Serbo-Croatian (language of\u00a0the\u00a0Bosnian Muslims) boj, meaning \u201cbattle\u201d with a feminine suffix, or\u00a0alternatively translated as \u201cloud noise.\u201d<\/p>\n

The links between Al Qaeda associates and incidents in the Bosnian war\u00a0were\u00a0known from the beginning in 1992, as were the links between Izetbegovic\u00a0and\u00a0international terrorists, and several incidents that were widely\u00a0publicizedas Serb \u201cmassacres\u201d and \u201catrocities\u201d were known to have been committed\u00a0instead by Bosnian Muslim special forces, the mujahidin.<\/p>\n

Prior to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, one might have argued\u00a0that the\u00a0Clinton administration was merely following an established policy of\u00a0using\u00a0\u201cAfghan\u201d fighters to do dirty work, like fighting the Russians in the\u00a01980s.But soon afterward, the intent of the jihaders to turn on America was\u00a0clear,\u00a0and by 1994 and certainly by 1995 when the Al Mudgahidin video was\u00a0made, the\u00a0Clinton administration had no justification for continued support of\u00a0the\u00a0Bosnian Muslim government and its mujahidin.<\/p>\n

Telling details are in Richard Holbrooke\u2019s To End a War: When Bosnian\u00a0Serbs\u00a0asked for a cease-fire in mid-September, 1995, the Clinton\u00a0administration\u2019s\u00a0Holbrooke was not ready. A massive offensive had to be set up and\u00a0executedto grab more Serb land because the Bosnian Muslim government, even with\u00a0help\u00a0from thousands of mujahidin, controlled only a small part of the\u00a0territory\u00a0in Bosnia.<\/p>\n

Holbrooke makes clear that, although the Clinton\u00a0administrationpretended to be neutral and expected Bosnian Serbs to believe they\u00a0were,\u00a0they were anything but neutral and actively supported the Bosnian\u00a0Muslims,\u00a0knowing full well their connection to the \u201cIranians and mujahideen\u201d for\u00a0thethree years of the war. Holbrooke says, \u201cAmerican intelligence had long\u00a0known of their existence-they were prominently mentioned, in fact, in\u00a0my\u00a0January 1993 memorandum to the incoming Administration-but during the\u00a0war\u00a0Washington had not made an issue of their presence since they were\u00a0helping\u00a0the otherwise isolated Bosnians to survive.\u201d Holbrooke also notes that\u00a0Clinton, in a December, 1995, meeting in Paris with Izetbegovic,\u00a0\u201cfocused on\u00a0the dangers posed to the NATO troops by the Iranians and the\u00a0mujahideen. \u2018Ifany action is taken against our troops,\u2019 [Clinton] said, \u2018it could\u00a0shatterthe whole venture and jeopardize our ability to equip and train your\u00a0forces.<\/p>\n

\u2019\u201d Izetbegovic responded with what Clinton and Holbrooke knew was a\u00a0lie-thatmost of the foreign fighters \u201chad already left.\u201d\u00a0Yet, the Clinton administration failed to enforce the Dayton agreement\u00a0and\u00a0allowed the mujahidin to stay, creating a permanent destabilization in\u00a0Bosnia and providing a safe-haven for Al Qaeda. The Clinton\u00a0administration\u2019s\u00a0helping Al Qaeda operatives escape the anti-terrorism efforts of other\u00a0countries, notably Egypt in 1997 to keep Bosnian-based Al Qaeda from\u00a0attacking U.S. troops in a move to take all of Bosnia, reveals more of\u00a0Clinton\u2019s duplicity.<\/p>\n

While timid Republicans defend Democrats\u2019 accusations against\u00a0the\u00a0Bush policies in Iraq with accusations that Clinton didn\u2019t do enough to\u00a0get\u00a0bin Laden, they are too uninformed to play hardball. The few\u00a0mentionings of\u00a0Clinton\u2019s wars in Bosnia and Kosovo are usually defended with (mumbled)\u00a0statements such as \u201cthat was a different kind of mission\u201d or \u201cthat was\u00a0to\u00a0prevent \u2018ethnic cleansing\u2019 or some such nonsense, and Republicans shut\u00a0up.<\/p>\n

Republicans would do well to become armed with some basic facts about\u00a0the\u00a0war in Bosnia.<\/p>\n

Open Secrets<\/p>\n

The open secrets (to informed politicians, but not the American people)\u00a0are\u00a0as follows:<\/p>\n

1. The war in Bosnia was not, as presented to the American public,\u00a0about\u00a0\u201cethnic hatred.\u201d In May, 1996, Ambassador Peter Galbraith testified in\u00a0closed session before angry congresspeople who wanted to know why in\u00a0hell\u00a0the Clinton administration lied to Congress and to the American people\u00a0about\u00a0collaborating with Iran to arm the Bosnian Muslims (and Arab\u00a0mujahidin). As\u00a0some congressmen showed their ignorance or malice by trying to justify\u00a0missteps by repeating misinformation, Galbraith dropped this bombshell,\u00a0\u201cThe\u00a0most important thing to understand about what happened in the former\u00a0Yugoslavia was that it was not the resurgence of ancient hatreds; it\u00a0was\u00a0something that was organized. And I think the organizers would never\u00a0have\u00a0continued it if they\u2019d been met early on with resolute action, and I\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0think it would have required much.\u201d<\/p>\n

What Galbraith didn\u2019t say but must have known was that Germany, the\u00a0U.S.,\u00a0Iran, and Saudi Arabia were at the forefront of the organized effort.\u00a0The\u00a0West wanted an oil pipeline through the Balkans and lots of plunder-the\u00a0UN\u00a0is now preparing to sell off (cheaply) Serb assets in Kosovo, and\u00a0Germany is\u00a0buying (cheaply) the hotels on the Adriatic that were built by all\u00a0Yugoslavs. Iran and its network of jihader-drug traffickers wanted a\u00a0foothold in Europe through which to funnel thousands of mujahidin (and\u00a0lots\u00a0of dope) for the future jihad (and present drug market) in Western\u00a0Europe.<\/p>\n

2. Bosnia was never a majority \u201cMuslim\u201d country. By even the\u00a0revisionist\u00a0counts, Bosnia was (and is) 60% Christian. Prior to the planned\u00a0break-up of\u00a0Yugoslavia in the late 1980s, there was no Bosnian Muslim ethnic group.\u00a0They\u00a0were counted as Serbs, and there was a 10% Muslim population for the\u00a0entirety of the former Yugoslavia (under Religions). In the late 1980s,\u00a0many\u00a0of the young people had no idea that they were anything except\u00a0Yugoslavs.<\/p>\n

Only after teachers were forced to make students identify themselves\u00a0according to an ethnic group did they learn their \u201cidentities.\u201d<\/p>\n

Young\u00a0people who had never seen a Koran or been in a mosque became \u201cMuslims\u201d\u00a0on\u00a0the census, but they still shared the Yugoslav culture. Their secular\u00a0parents also dressed and behaved like other Yugoslavs, at least until\u00a0Arab\u00a0mujahidin came into their homes and smashed their liquor bottles. Saudi\u00a0Arabia paid starving young women 100 deutsche marks per month to wear\u00a0veils\u00a0so Bosnia would appear to have some real Muslims.<\/p>\n

The Bihac pocket was controlled by moderate Muslims under the elected\u00a0moderate Fikret Abdic who was pushed out by Izetbegovic. Twenty\u00a0thousand<\/p>\n

Muslims fled the area in August, 1995. They fled from Izetbegovic\u2019s\u00a0mujahidin-led 5th Corp, not from Serbs. In an AP report, Safet\u00a0Kantarevic is\u00a0quoted as saying, \u201cI\u2019m a Muslim and I\u2019m not ashamed of it. But I don\u2019t\u00a0want\u00a0to fight Serbs. I don\u2019t want to go to war. I don\u2019t want my children to\u00a0learn\u00a0the Koran and Arabic.\u201d A few religious Muslims, a handful of them like\u00a0Alija\u00a0Izetbegovic (a leader in the World War II Nazi \u201cYoung Muslim\u201d group),\u00a0only\u00a0through U.S. and Islamist support, co-opted power and disenfranchised\u00a0the\u00a0majority of \u201cMuslims\u201d who were moderate-and with the full intention\u00a0(and\u00a0result) of oppressing not only moderate Muslims but also Orthodox and\u00a0Catholic Christians in Bosnia.<\/p>\n

3. Much of the news (from \u201cthe most trusted name in news\u201d) the world\u00a0watched\u00a0during the war in Bosnia was created in the American PR firms of Ruder&\u00a0Finn and Hill and Knowlton and paid for by the Bosnian Muslim\u00a0government\u00a0with money from Iran and Saudi Arabia. Christianne Amonpour, who\u00a0shamelessly\u00a0admits not being objective in her reporting from Bosnia, was referred\u00a0to by\u00a0a Bosnian Muslim government official as the Bosnian Muslim\u2019s\u00a0\u201cartillery.\u201d<\/p>\n

The brag to French journalist Jacques Merlino by Ruder & Finn CEO James\u00a0Harff about his success in hoodwinking American Jewish organizations\u00a0with\u00a0the Nazi-concentration camp fraud is only one example. \u00a0The entire\u00a0thing\u00a0started with staged photos from the refugee camp at Trnopolje where a\u00a0British ITN crew filmed free refugees (one with a deformed ribcage)\u00a0from\u00a0inside a barbed-wire-enclosed storage area in August, 1992, making it\u00a0appear\u00a0that Muslims were being held behind barbed-wire. Pictures were\u00a0circulated\u00a0immediately with \u201cproof\u201d that Serbs were committing Nazi-like\u00a0atrocities.<\/p>\n

4. The war in Bosnia was part of the Islamist Jihad, led by Al Qaeda\u2019s\u00a0Al\u00a0Zawahiri at least by September, 1995. Reports of Al Qaeda\u2019s involvement\u00a0are\u00a0leaking out in bits and pieces. Most of the new books and profiles\u00a0include\u00a0only a sentence or two about Al Qaeda in Bosnia:\u00a0Al Zawahiri \u201creportedly operated out of Albania into Bosnia and\u00a0Kosovo.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBin Laden saw the conflict as a \u2018European Afghanistan\u2019, and sent Arab\u00a0Afghans into Albania and then Bosnia to fight alongside their Muslim\u00a0brothers against the Serb aggressors.\u201d17 (Someone please explain how\u00a0Bosnian\u00a0Serbs, fighting foreign terrorists in their own backyards, were the\u00a0aggressors.)<\/p>\n

\u201cThe war in Bosnia, and to a lesser extent the subsequent conflict in\u00a0Kosovo, became popular jihads that attracted radical Islamists . . . .Some\u00a0had government sponsorship (specifically that of Iran).\u201d<\/p>\n

Daniel Pipes sees as a warning signal in detecting sleeper cells,\u00a0\u201cTravel to\u00a0hot spots where Muslims are fighting non-Muslims (Bosnia, Chechnya,\u00a0Lebanon,\u00a0Kashmir); . . . .\u201d<\/p>\n

Robert Baer reports,\u00a0\u201cWhen NATO forces raided the offices of the Saudi High Commission for\u00a0Aid to\u00a0Bosnia, founded by Prince Salman, they found before-and-after photos of\u00a0the\u00a0destroyed U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania and of the World Trade\u00a0Center\u00a0(when it still stood), and of the U.S.S. Cole, as well as files on the\u00a0use\u00a0of crop-duster planes and materials for forging official U.S. identity\u00a0cards.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brendan O\u2019Neill notes that the U.S. training of mujahidin in\u00a0Afghanistan to\u00a0fight Russians is well known,\u00a0\u201cYet America\u2019s role in backing the mujahedin a second time in the early\u00a0and\u00a0mid-1990s is seldom mentioned-largely because very few people know\u00a0about it,\u00a0and those who do find it prudent to pretend that it never happened. . .<\/p>\n

The Bosnia venture appears to have been very important to the rise of\u00a0mujahedin forces, to the emergence of today\u2019s cross-border Islamic\u00a0terrorists who think nothing of moving from state to state in the\u00a0search of\u00a0outlets for their jihadist mission.\u201d \u00a0In Israel, at least some are aware of the relationship between the\u00a0Clinton\u00a0administration and Islamists. In an article calling for Bush to enlist\u00a0the\u00a0help of Orthodox Christian Serbs in fighting terrorism in the Balkans,\u00a0which\u00a0now serves as a transit route to the U.S. via Western Europe, Naji N.Najjar\u00a0writes,\u00a0\u201cThe Saudi regime pushed the Clinton Administration to fuel\u00a0anti-Western\u00a0Jihad in the heart of Europe and backed and financed the Islamic rebels\u00a0in\u00a0the Balkans. . . . The breakdown of the Serbs and the emergence of the\u00a0Bosnian Muslim government, backed by Saudi Arabia [and Iran], was one\u00a0of the\u00a0causes that galvanized and consolidated Islamic fundamentalism,\u00a0encouraging\u00a0it to hit the United States on September 11th 2001.\u201d<\/p>\n

5. Osama Bin Laden acquired a Bosnian passport in 1993 and made several\u00a0trips to Bosnia; several of the 9\/11 hijackers have also been linked to\u00a0Bosnia. I was told about bin Laden\u2019s passport by Bosnian Serbs in 2000,\u00a0but\u00a0who could believe them? At that time, I believed CNN\u2019s reporting and\u00a0thought\u00a0that all Serbs were monsters (or \u201cbastards,\u201d as Sen. Joe Biden\u00a0described\u00a0them). In 2001, a UN medic told me where Bin Laden had acquired the\u00a0passport\u00a0(the Bosnian Embassy in Vienna). Yossef Bodansky and Gregory Copley at\u00a0The\u00a0International Strategic Studies Association have now documented not\u00a0only BinLaden\u2019s passport but also those of many other Al Qaeda terrorists who\u00a0came\u00a0to Bosnia to fight in the jihad for a country in Europe and established\u00a0links to some of the 9\/11 hijackers.<\/p>\n

Wall Street Journal Europe, relying heavily on the work of Yossef\u00a0Bodansky,\u00a0says,\u00a0\u201cFor the past 10 years, the most senior leaders of al Qaeda have\u00a0visited the\u00a0Balkans, including bin Laden himself on three occasions between 1994\u00a0and\u00a01996. The Egyptian surgeon turned terrorist leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri\u00a0has\u00a0operated terrorist training camps, weapons of mass destruction\u00a0factories and\u00a0money-laundering and drug-trading networks throughout Albania, Kosovo,\u00a0Macedonia, Burgaria, Turkey and Bosnia.\u201d<\/p>\n

It is inconceivable that in an area covering the square of about 55\u00a0miles,\u00a0crawling with NATO and UN personnel, no one had a clue that bin Laden\u00a0was a\u00a0guest of the mujahidin and of Alija Izetbegovic himself. He was seen in\u00a0Izetbegovic\u2019s waiting room twice by reporter Renate Flottau of Der\u00a0Spiegel.<\/p>\n

Srebrenica-Code word to Legitimize a Fraud<\/p>\n

To divert attention from the question of how and why our long-time Serb\u00a0allies became our enemies and Arab mujahideen our friends, the focus\u00a0fast-forwards to the July, 1995, Bosnian Serb attack on Srebrenica.<\/p>\n

There is\u00a0no mention of the facts that the \u201csafe area\u201d was never demilitarized;\u00a0mujahideen had conducted raids on surrounding Serb villages,\u00a0slaughtering\u00a0villagers as deliberate provocations; Gen. Mladic warned Bosnian Muslim\u00a0forces that the attacks must stop or he would be forced to act to\u00a0protect\u00a0civilians; Mladic\u2019s warnings were answered with increased massacres\u00a0(especially after Izetbegovic\u2019s visit with Clinton in Washington);\u00a05,000\u00a0mujahideen deserted in mass toward Tuzla before the Bosnian Serb attack\u00a0and\u00a0turned up later on the Red Cross missing list, 3,000 of which voted in\u00a0the\u00a01996 election; during the \u201cmassacre,\u201d Gen. Mladic was sipping tea with\u00a0British UN envoy Rupert Smith, and the UN was all over the place; the\u00a0hyperbole regarding numbers of Muslim fighters killed at Srebrenica\u00a0started\u00a0a month after the battle when Madeline Albright showed a satellite\u00a0photo as\u00a0proof that thousands were massacred near Nova Kasaba (33 bodies were\u00a0later\u00a0found there); the pre-battle population of the town is matched by the\u00a0number\u00a0of registered survivors combined with the 5,000 fighters who escaped to\u00a0Tuzla prior to the Serb attack; and in scouring the country-side\u00a0looking for\u00a0bodies, only a few hundred, not a few thousand, have been found, and\u00a0many of\u00a0those are certainly of Serb victims who were killed in Nasir Oric\u2019s\u00a0raids on\u00a0civilian villages.<\/p>\n

The response to the facts has been to ignore them and make a hoopla\u00a0over the\u00a0\u201cgenocide\u201d at Srebrenica, creating a huge story about the \u201cgreatest\u00a0atrocity\u00a0since World War II\u201d and spending U.S. taxpayer money to build a\u00a0monumentthat Gregory Copley reports, based on Islamist sources, \u201cwas intended\u00a0to\u00a0become a shrine for radical Islamists in Europe and site for annual\u00a0pilgrimages.\u201d<\/p>\n

No one seems to have noticed evidence of the Clinton fraud: the\u00a0monument is\u00a0engraved with Arabic messages. The Bosnian Muslims speak Serbian\u00a0(called\u00a0Serbo-Croatian after World War I; now called Bosniak, Croatian, and\u00a0Serbian). The Arabic is an insult to all but a few radicals; Bosnian\u00a0Muslim\u00a0(long-lost) roots go to the Ottoman Empire, which used the Roman\u00a0alphabet\u00a0after Attaturk. Were only Arab mujahidin killed at Srebrenica? Was not\u00a0one\u00a0of the killed a Bosnian Muslim?<\/p>\n

Chew on this<\/p>\n

If the Bosnian Serbs had killed 7,000-8,000 Muslim men and boys (like\u00a0the\u00a0one pictured above with the Uzi) as Mladic was meeting with Rupert\u00a0Smith and\u00a0the UN was all over the place, those same men and boys would not be\u00a0killing\u00a0our troops in Iraq, setting up bombs or sending homicide bombers to\u00a0kill\u00a0civilians in Chechnya, the Philippines, Kashmir, Moscow, Kosovo,\u00a0Israel,\u00a0Indonesia, and, well, New York City.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Results of Clinton\u2019s Intervention in Bosnia<\/p>\n

Balkanization of Yugoslavia, dividing it into ethnically pure states,\u00a0was\u00a0done by the international community, the UN and Clinton-led NATO, not\u00a0the\u00a0Serbs. In Serbia and the Serb Republic, ethnic groups still live\u00a0together.<\/p>\n

Two hundred thousand members of various non-Serb ethnic groups live in\u00a0Belgrade alone. Thousands of Kosovo Albanians fled the bombing in\u00a0Kosovo to\u00a0go to Serbia, not Albania. Thousands of Bosnian Muslims fled the\u00a0fighting in\u00a0Bosnia to go to Serbia, not to, well, Turkey or Iran.<\/p>\n

In the Serb Republic, Bosnian Muslims have returned to reclaim their\u00a0property, but Serbs are not returning to the Federation if they value\u00a0their\u00a0lives. The few Serbs in the Islamist-controlled area of Bocinja were\u00a0recently told they must convert to Islam if they want live. That fate\u00a0awaits\u00a0all Bosnian Serbs when Bosnia becomes \u201cone Bosnia.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clinton knew exactly the vision of the Islamist-controlled Bosnian\u00a0Muslim\u00a0government from the beginning. Secular Bosnian Muslims are leaving theFederation in droves, and the shotgun wedding of Bosnian Muslims and\u00a0Croats\u00a0that know-it-all Richard Holbrooke bullied them into for the purpose of\u00a0stealing land from Serbs was made in hell from the start. In the\u00a0Federation,\u00a0Muslims and Croats still kill each other regularly.\u00a0Orthodox Christian Serbs, who \u201coccupied\u201d about seventy percent of\u00a0Bosnia and\u00a0one-third of Croatia during the war (and for the past several hundred\u00a0years)\u00a0are displaced around the world or isolated in the Serb Republic where\u00a0the\u00a0economy has been in the toilet for so long that farmers are having to\u00a0sell\u00a0land because they can\u2019t buy seeds, and teachers, doctors, and police\u00a0officers go for months without getting paid.<\/p>\n

While France screams about Iraq, Chirac has no qualms about\u00a0participating inan occupation force in Bosnia that is headed by a dictator, High\u00a0Representative Paddy Ashdown, who can remove elected officials at will\u00a0or\u00a0force them to sign political \u201cconfessions.\u201d And the pro-Arab (for\u00a0money)\u00a0European Union (aka Germany) once again has troops and control over\u00a0Bosnian\u00a0Serbs and is determined to crush a people it failed to crush in both\u00a0World\u00a0Wars by, like the UN before it, strangling the economy and making sure\u00a0the\u00a0clever Serbs are denied the technology to educate their children to\u00a0compete\u00a0in tomorrow\u2019s economy. The civilian infrastructure is still, after\u00a0eight\u00a0years, below pre-war levels.<\/p>\n

While Democrats and the hypocrites at the UN scream at Bush to \u201cturn\u00a0Iraq\u00a0over to the Iraqis,\u201d Bosnia has fallen into an Orwellian hole as\u00a0Democrats\u00a0brazenly repeat lies, daring uninformed Republicans to challenge them.<\/p>\n

Rep.\u00a0Bill Nelson (D-Florida) said on Fox News \u201cBosnia is working well\u201d\u00a0(March 30,\u00a02003). Informed viewers, after picking themselves up, must have asked,\u00a0\u201cFor\u00a0whom?\u201d\u00a0Bosnia worked well only for Al Qaeda, for the jihad, but Democrats\u00a0don\u2019t\u00a0have to explain anything as long as they can keep accusations at a high\u00a0pitch with distractions of the Offensive Defensive. But they fail to\u00a0consider that sooner or later the American people will learn that not\u00a0only\u00a0has their safety and security been compromised by the Clinton\u00a0administration\u2019s collaboration with Al Qaeda in the Balkans but also their very\u00a0freedom if\u00a0we can believe Thomas Jefferson\u2019s, \u201cIf a nation, in a state of\u00a0civilization,\u00a0expects to be [both] ignorant and free, it expects what never has been\u00a0and\u00a0never will be.\u201d The lies have left us ignorant.<\/p>\n

While there may be no salvation for the destroyed lives in the Balkans,\u00a0the\u00a0public must learn how Al Qaeda became the force that threatens the\u00a0entire\u00a0free world. Some mea culpas are in order. News networks can start by\u00a0showing\u00a0the Al Mudgahidin video to the public and explaining how and why they\u00a0misinformed the public. Some politicians, especially those prominent\u00a0Democrats who are screaming their heads off about Iraq, can start\u00a0explaining\u00a0their complicity in the biggest fraud of the past fifty years.
